‘The Spaces Between Us’ series explores themes of concurrent connection and detachment in human relationships. It seeks to capture the vulnerable moments between opposing states of existence: being and striving, having and losing, fighting and surrendering. 

Inspired by both Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel and a cherished love letter: This piece focuses on the obstacles we must face both internally and externally to find love; whether it be romantic love, or love of self. When we find ourselves lost at sea, we reach toward hope whispering a soft prayer to bring us home.
